Collection and use of personal data
from customers, suppliers, and other contractors

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we will collect and use the personal data you provide to us because you have given your consent or because it is necessary for the representation of our legitimate interests. We process the following data: name, address, and contact details. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.
If you are a (potential) customer of ours, we use your data to send you a quotation, to determine which specifications or requirements a particular item or service must meet, to deliver goods or perform work for you, to invoice you, and to communicate with you quickly and efficiently regarding the implementation aspects of the agreement.

If you are a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal data is also necessary for the conclusion and execution of the agreement. In the case of procurement, this is necessary to let you know which specifications or requirements a particular item or service should meet as far as we are concerned, to send a request for quotation or place an order with you, to pay your invoices, and to communicate with you quickly and efficiently regarding other aspects of the agreement.

You are not obliged to provide us with your personal data. However, if you provide us with no or insufficient personal data, it is possible that we will not be able to carry out the aforementioned activities.

Transfer to third parties

In connection with the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we must provide your personal data to parties that supply parts, materials, and products to us or perform work on our behalf. We also use external server space for the storage of (parts of) our contact database. If you are a business relation of ours, your personal data forms part of this. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider. Furthermore, we use Microsoft Office and the associated storage options for emails and other files.

Direct marketing

We will store and use the personal data provided by you to personally inform you by email in the future about our existing and new products and services and possibly make you an offer for these. Every time we send you a commercial mailing, you have the option to let us know that you no longer wish to receive them.

Retention period of personal data

If you have requested a quotation from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact. Similarly, if we have received a quotation from you but have not become a customer of yours, your personal data will be deleted no later than one year after our last contact. If you have become a customer of ours or we have become a customer of yours, we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years after the end of the financial year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. The seven-year period corresponds to the period within which we are obliged to keep our records for the Tax Authorities. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to inspect your own personal data. If there is reason to do so, you can also request us to supplement your personal data or to correct inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to request that your personal data be deleted or that the use of your personal data be restricted. You can also object to the collection and use of your data or file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
